Tom Vilsack Sent Me an Invitation - My Page

So I got an email the other day from Governor Tom Vilsack. He's not even my Governor, but since I hate the kid in office in Jeff City, I'll audition other Governors and Senators. I love my Congressman, William Lacy Clay. He's the man 99% of the time.

Any rate, Gov. Vilsack wanted me to join him at ourtenwords.com, a project by the "heartland demoncrat PAC" to sum it all up so anyone can understand it. Now, I am a Democrat until the Green Party makes a respectable showing (prime example of a network externality for those who care). And I'm happy to give advice to anyone who wants it. So, I signed up. You can see my own page with my ten words. And, if you are anything like a Dem, I urge you to go. Maybe we can steer the party someplace useful and off the plantation.

Some Administrative Stuff

I have changed the look of the page. I didn't like the sea green on the other one and felt that the colors all kind of blended together. I am working towards a custom template, that will be orange, black and blue. But I have to figure out how to do such a thing first. I gather that putting this kind of thing together is a little harder than coding my original blog (WYSIWG editor and organizer without style sheets, etc). Any rate, when that happens, it will probably be the last time. Till then, "Black Glorious Black".

I am retitling my past posts to make them more informative. I might also go back and add some pictures. I might not. But I think some of the titles are weak, and not helpful to anyone who is reading it. So, in the interest of getting you and keeping you, I'm reworking them.

I'm also working on moving the blog to a new address, preferably one that is free and not the equivalent of blogspot. So I can post pics, and not have the stigma of being on the vanilla site.

That's it. Thanks for coming.
